After ages I didn't feel like mixing any breakcore, the mere fact that the genre is so very rarely played and mentioned these days, makes it somehow more interesting than other trends currently dominating the electronics dance music soundscape. Especially if you don't see breakcore as simply #gabba #kicks with #amen #breaks but more as an hybrid strategy juxtaposing things that apparently can't match like a Bapipes virtuoso soloing on an #oldschool #breakcore #vinylset. This is what I did at last Lauter Laerm party in Vienna.

Today with @nicolomasierosgrinzatto.jpg we premiere HYPER-SKATE that is an offspring of my previous "In SkateBored We Noize'" record (2007). The coming of the age, we don't feel we can skate properly anymore so this new #skateboard #noise show has to do with a celebration of skateboarding seen as the the Sound Mark in Schafer terms of the urban experience. We're going to use treadmills, contact mics, Arduino, light switch and more, it's going to be like, if you accept my synesthetic transfer, ,putting the noise produced by a skateboard under a magnifying glass. I've been doing so many #mixtape during lockdown I got bored of them a bit, so when @avant_radio asked me for one, we agreed to do something special. I wanted my mixtape to be a sort of " soundtrack of action". I run this small #musicstore in Bologna, so small there's no public toilet, so every time I have to go for a piss I have to invent something funny. This time I skated to nearest public WC in Via IV Novembre this is why in my trip to closest urinal you'll hear tracks from my record "In SkateBored We Noize!" record featuring only sounds produced with skateboards.
