Postmodern crashes, urban and non-urban rhythms rationalized in the rural cosmos of “jungvieh.” Eight tracks that blend into the imaginative metropolitan bestiary of the 22nd century. Cows, tractors, hammerless sickles, replaced by synth-cellular macroorganisms capable of carrying out the monotonous (but not monogamous) program of Tout-les-Jours (l’exploitation). Thus, the artist’s Alpine postmodern visions veer toward farm-tranced punk-wave. An album from a distant world, this “stalldienst” is closer to 2999 than its conception, abstract in temporal space but solid and immediate in materiality.
