+Bel.01 “El Paso SoundWall” by Sandblasting

26 Novembre 2011

In the short story “The Great China Wall” Kafka tells that this colosal work has been accomplished piecemeal. And exactly this Chinese wisdom Sandblasting did use to erect his “El Paso Sound-Wall”: a 100% synthetic impro of post-industrial drones assasinated by sonic brutisme stabs that reveal a solid experience in the live-act field. Then, as in a patchwork, the sounds of the impro become literally “raw material” to build 5 others power-electronics assaults (chiNOISErie) characterized by an original research on sound’s grain and by a pernickety structural organization – noisician as oriental porcelains craftsman.
