We are thrilled to reveal CQR, the ninth release from Tocca il Futuro and the latest visionary project from the extraordinary musician and visual artist, Daniele Veronese. CQR, short for “C’est qu’il reste”, represents a bold new chapter in Veronese’s artistic journey, seamlessly blending the worlds of sound and visual art into an immersive, multi-sensory experience.

The music of CQR unfolds like an intricate tapestry, weaving ambient sounds that are sometimes abstract, sometimes tangible, reflecting the more intimate and enigmatic aspects of memory. His approach blends acoustic instruments with electronic textures, crafting an atmosphere that feels suspended between past and present, between what was and what could have been. This is not just music—it’s a reflection on time, memory, and the ways in which they shape our identities.

An essential part of CQR is the seamless connection between the music and the accompanying visual artwork, both crafted by Veronese himself. The album cover serves as a visual counterpart to the sound, capturing the blurred nature of memories and their constant evolution. The artwork features abstract details and dissolving forms, mirroring the fading and fluctuating nature of thoughts and emotions over time.
