Some of his initiates known locally as “Hardcore Warriors” started to rise up shoulders upon shoulders, deltoid upon deltoid until the strongest of the group touch the ceiling of the club. And in this very moment lights are back, the night is OOOVVVEEERRR The following tracks explores the human pyramid ritual from an audio-ethnological point of view so from yearly Herndon Mountain Climb where first year Marines stormed a 21-foot-high obelisk at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, slipping and sliding around a monument covered in 50 pounds of vegetable shortening, to Castells, since some years inscribed by Unesco in the list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity, which consists of human towers built traditionally in Catalonia, to Dahi Handi in India where young men make human pyramid and attempt to break the pot with Dahi (yogurt) hanging in a pot, to dangerous extreme Japanese sport called Bo-Taoshi, to other Italian form of Gabber Pyramid out of the Venice tradition called FORZE D’ERCOLE (these were physical trials & games mostly consisting in Human Pyramid, in which the “Nicolotti” & the “Castellani” traditional Venice crews challenged each other in historical times), to motorbike pyramids by The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team (White Helmet) and to Ancient Egypt skeletal remains of the first human pyramid. #humanpyramid #onlydigital #conceptalbum #gabber

SAVE Sonic Belligeranza MEGASTORE fundraiser campa SAVE Sonic Belligeranza MEGASTORE fundraiser campaign!It's been 23 years since Sonic Belliceranza Records has been involved in saving endagered musical species from the brink of extinction. We take joy in invading both digital platforms as much as music physical formats – not only vinyls, cds, tapes, but also 78 rpm records, flexi and floppy discs, USB drives. In order to preserve audio supports in 2013 our bazaar started to infest cafés, ice cream shops and street food joints, with often debatable co-working arrangements.Last year, a turning point occurred: the opening of the WWF of musical formats, a favorite habitat for all sonic aficionados. To make the wager even more daring, the opening of the store has been slashed by the pandemic. The reaction has been overwhelming and against all odds: one of the busiest  historic streets of Bologna has gained a new dj point, proving how sharing works also outside of social networks. A narrow opening in a wall, with a pinch of resourcefulness, can turn into a MEGASTOREFollowing an ironic and unexpected turn of events, the space itself is now risking extinction. An unexpected surge of troubles is putting our very survival at risk, but we’re taking no stylus off the record: we’re in the midst of rearranging our associative dna in order to affront this new bet, aiming for a further evolutionary leap.An overflow of expenses is gushing towards our tiny cave.
